After countless tests, prototypes, and adjustments, the time has come:
Our new circuit board – the heart of Ohrlaf – is ready!

This brings us a big step closer to our goal of mass-producing Ohrlaf.
And the best part: it comes with a whole host of new features that are exciting for us in production and for all future Ohrlaf adventurers.

🔋 New PCB, new possibilities

Our new circuit board has been completely redesigned – with a focus on reliability, expandability, and production readiness.

This means:
🧩 More flexibility for future Ohrlaf versions
⚡ More efficient power management and stable performance
🔧 Improved component structure for simpler and scalable manufacturing

With this hardware, we are laying the foundation to build many Ohrlafs simultaneously – an important milestone on the way to series production.

💾 Firmware 2.0 – Ohrlaf learns

In parallel with the new hardware, Marc Müller is working on a completely new firmware that takes Ohrlaf's capabilities to the next level.

The modular design will make it possible in the future to

🎵 discover audio tracks,
🎮 and even create your own games – together with the children!

This means: parents can create their own stories and learning games using ChatGPT, upload them to Ohrlaf – and thus create a very personal learning experience.

Why this is so important

With this new circuit board, we are building the bridge between prototype and product.
