🏆 Ohrlaf Wins EdTech Audience Award at HNU Pitch Event "The Triangle"

The Future of Learning – Within Reach

What will learning look like in the future?
And how can we encourage children with joy, creativity, and curiosity – without overwhelming them with screens?

These were the central questions at "The Triangle" pitch event on June 5, 2025, at the Founders Space of Neu-Ulm University of Applied Sciences (HNU).
Four EdTech startups presented their ideas for the education of tomorrow – and we were there live with Ohrlaf.

🎧 Ohrlaf impresses audience and wins EdTech Award

The highlight of the evening:
Our interactive, screen-free learning companion Ohrlaf was awarded the EdTech Audience Award.

We are thrilled about this recognition – it shows that our approach of making learning tangible again truly resonates with the times.

Ohrlaf fosters creativity in preschool-aged children through interactive audio content and offers a learning experience without visual overstimulation.
Thanks to its digital interface, the system is infinitely expandable – in the future, even by users themselves.

In his pitch, Kilian spoke openly about the opportunities and challenges in developing physical products – and shared valuable insights with other founders.

🚀 Strong Ideas on One Stage

In addition to Ohrlaf, three other exciting EdTech startups presented on stage:

🎓 Campus Ready – an AI-powered learning platform with a "Slide Coach" feature that supports students in their studies.
🎵 Klang² from Freiburg – an acoustic memory game, known from a successful crowdfunding campaign and an appearance on Die Höhle der Löwen (Shark Tank).
🧮 supertut – a digital platform that helps universities teach math and computer science in a playful way.

Together, they showcased how diverse and innovative the education startup scene in Southern Germany is.

"The Triangle" is a pitch format by the HNU Founders Space in cooperation with StartupSÜD.
It provides a platform for innovative startups to present their ideas – focusing on future industries such as EdTech, HealthTech, or Sustainability.

In addition to pitch events, the Founders Space offers coaching, funding opportunities, and an inspiring co-working space for founders and students.
