With this extension, children playfully discover the world of numbers from 1 to 10. They learn to safely recognize and correctly assign initial numbers and practice their first mental arithmetic with small, child-friendly tasks. Interactive audio questions and playful exercises create a natural approach to numbers – completely without a screen and with great joy in participation.
Note: The content is not yet final and may change. It already works with our prototype, but will be expanded, improved and become more extensive on the way to series production.

What is an Earflap Extension Set and how does it work?
An expansion set consists of interactive RFID tokens that unlock new learning content for Ohrlaf. Simply place a chip on Ohrlaf and start immediately: listen, answer, assign, guess, or solve small tasks. Completely without a screen.
From what age are the expansion sets suitable?
Our expansion sets are designed for children aged 3 and up and grow with them: from first discoveries to more challenging educational games. The content is child-friendly and based on early childhood educational recommendations.
Do I need to own multiple sets, or does each expansion set work individually?
Each set is playable independently. The learning chips contain enough content and games for your child to get started right away – even without additional sets. Ohrlaf automatically recognizes every set.
Which game modes does an expansion set offer?
All sets include multiple play modes:
- Audio Knowledge: child-friendly explanations
- Interactive Tasks: matching, guessing, answering questions
- Audio Games: e.g., Memory, recognizing sounds, remembering sequences
- Short Stories: thematically relevant audio stories
The exact contents depend on the specific set.
